One of the basic services we offer is that of Weather Forecasts. These weather forecasts, which are sent daily to the vessel and his principal, aid to have a clear understanding on the weather conditions the vessel will encounter and how that weather will affect ship’s navigation and speed.
Six hourly weather forecasts are provided on a daily basis for the upcoming two days.
Information in weather chart forecasts includes wind force and direction, swell direction, significant wave height and ocean surface currents.
Moreover, Weather Navigation provides advice on completed voyages basis voyage logs and actual weather records during that period. The voyage reconstruction then informs the principal of whether there may be any delay on a vessel’s future performance basis previous performance or if there is any technical difficulty impeding the vessel from performing at the guaranteed speed and consumption.
